| BALAN, HAITI |
| We have often heard Haitians say upon arrival in Balan, "I didn't know people lived like this in my country". That says a lot about the living conditions of Balan. There is no fresh water, no electricity, sparse agriculture, no jobs, no school, no hospital, no roads, etc. God has placed New Hope Haiti Mission in Balan for the very purpose of bringing the gospel of hope to this remote and unknown village. When NHHM arrived in Balan, most of the villagers were in spiritual bondage to Voudou. The first convert was the Voudou priestess. She, upon conversion, donated a plot of land for the establishment of Balan Christian Church. Since that time, many have made Jesus their Lord, forsaking Voudou, and are serving in the church. NHHM also supplies food to this village every other week through the Feeding Program. Without this supplemental food, many families would go hungry. |

| PRAY FOR BALAN |
| Continue to pray for salvation. There are many still living in bondage. We know God loves each one and has a plan for them! Pray for Pastor Leonel as he ministers to the church. We thank you for support; we would not be able to accomplish His will without it. |
