New Hope has the honor and responsibility to care for 23 precious children. All of our kids have been living in the home since at least 2002 except for two siblings that arrived this past summer. In addition, we have seen 7 children adopted into loving homes in the United States. Our main goal is to love these kids with the love of Christ. We hope to nurture, train, educate and inspire these little ones to become productive adults who will serve their country for the sake of the gospel.
The children attend local schools in our neighborhood and attend church with Jean Claubert who is the church's pastor. The children have visitation with family members, including a nice dinner followed by a choral or drama performance and a Scripture memory recitation. We have regular visits from IBESR, the Haitian Social Services, where the social workers evaluate each child to ensure their development and health. |
